Magic Kingdom Operational Changes for October 3rd & 4th, 2008

The Magic Kingdom park has added an additional offering of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party on October 4, 2008 in order to supplement the October 3rd offering that was canceled (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=138082).

Tickets for the October 4th party are now on-sale.

The operational park hours for October 3rd and 4th have also been adjusted. The new hours are as follows:

October 3, 2008 - 9:00am - 9:00pm
October 4, 2008 - 9:00am - 7:00pm

Ticketing cast should be contacting guests who had previously rescheduled their 10/3 party to a different date, to offer them the option of rescheduling again to the newly added 10/4 party.

I know alot of people have been asking about why the park was closing early on Saturday October 4th. I just saw on another Disney site that they have added this night for MNSSHP. Hope that is the reason and hope someone can verify this for us!

From what I know and what I am going through, this is not true. Nothing after lunch is open for guests. I am working with a guest relations specialist regarding this day and she is being tight lipped as to what is going on. I think she knows but won't clue me in. I think if it was something as simple as adding a party she would not hide that. We'll see though.
