how long do you think it will take to be in the system and make a reservation?

Congrats and welcome. SSR is my home resort. We have only stayed there once since purchasing DVC in 2003 but we truly enjoyed it.

As for getting in the system, I am not sure on an initial purchase how long it takes but when we did an add-on, it was instantaneous. Literally while I was on the phone with my Sales guy, the additional points were added.

Call member services and ask. :mickey:

since this was a resale i think it takes a little longer. My agent told me 7 to 10 days but I read on another board that it could be shorter or longer.....one lady told me it only took her 2 days.

HI congratulations! I don't know how long it will take the book your reservation through re-sale but we just bought (July 31st) at AKL and Imade my reservations a week ago. All my information was in the system really quick.

I can't wait to make my first trip home in January. We would really like to stay at BCV or AKV conceirge but I know those are really popular and we may not get it. I guess my next choice will be BWV and then VWL.

Well, WELCOME HOME TO DVC!!!!!

We love our membership and are not sorry that we joined. SSR is our home as well and since joining in 2005, we have stayed there twice as well as WL & BWV. We love all of the resorts!

I called Sunday and found out that I am now in the system. I made my first ressie for Jan. 13-17. Right now we are at BCV for the first 2 nights and VWL for the second 2. We are waitlisted for the second 2 nights at BCV. Hopefully it will come through.
