Any idea what the last week of April 2009 will be like as far as crowds go? I know it's part of the spring break period but I'm hoping most schools will have it a bit earlier. Any information about late april weather will also be appreciated...Thanks!

Grad Nights are April 17, 18, 24 and 25 of 2009. So, if you happen to be there at the same time, just avoid DHS, on those days as it's now being held there instead of MK. In general though, crowds are probably medium to high with wait times between 45 and 70 minutes for the major attractions. Otherwise, though, according to When to Visit (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/weather/whentovisit.asp) it's a good time to go weatherwise, not too hot, and not too much rain.

We went the last week in April in 2007 and it was crowded but not unbearable. I do think it is past most spring breaks. We are heading down the last week in April of 2009 so in general it is a decent time. See you there!

busy but not impossible - we have gone that week twice and the wonderful weather makes up for the larger crowds :mickey: just fastpass and get to the parks early

We were planning a trip in early May, but had to change to the last week in April due to a graduation. I checked the UG, and it listed crowds at 4,5, and 6 for that week, so I was encouraged. That's low #'s for WDW. Hopefully, it will be manageable!

We have been three times around the last week of April/first week of May - its a GREAT time of year to go IMO. Weather is not too hot yet and the crowds are very manageable! Have a great time!
