I need some suggestions for TS breakfast as I want to enjoy a nice leisurely sit down breakfast with the family. Please let me know which restaurants you enjoyed and what you ordered.:mickey:

We've always enjoyed Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.

I recall having a nice breakfast at Boatwright's at POR, but I do not remember what we ordered.

Have a great time! :mickey:

Hello,

Our favorites are BOMAs at AKL and Kona Cafe at Polynesian.

BOMAs is a buffet but it is wonderful - not your typical dried up buffet. It is also at the beautiful AKL - worth the trip alone. And, in the morning, the animals at AKL will all be out.

Kona Cafe is wonderful too. It has the best menu item - Tonga Toast which is a banana stuffed cinamon frech toast - highly recommended!

I think the both of these restaurants have the best coffee throughout WDW.

Boma is my B'fast destination EVERY trip.
So many choices everyone will be satisfied. Best on property IMHO. :number1:

We always enjoy the omlette bar at Coronado, but BOMA is top of the list too!

My family loves breakfast buffets. Top choices are chef mickeys, cape may cafe and Crystal palace. For family style we loved Whispering canyon.

Our last trip was our first time trying Cape May's character breakfast - we absolutely loved it! My son was 14 months at the time. The food was delicious, the characters spent a lot of time with our son, and our server was just wonderful. We have already made plans to return there for our upcoming trip.

Our favorite breakfast thus far has been at Boatwright's. We also have enjoyed Chef Mickey's but I'm not sure I would call it leisurely!

I would suggest Chef Mickey's or Akershus! Loved Akershus!

The best "leisurely" breakfast we've had was at Spoodle's. It was peaceful, great food and great service. I got the Frittata...delicious.

Other great breakfasts (but not as relaxing) are Boma (every trip), Kona, Boatwright's (at POR), Crystal Palace.

If your staying at POR, Boatwrights has to be the best breakfast eatery on property...!!!!!:mickey:

For a quiet - leisurely - breakfast, I always preferred The Yacht Club Galley. As much as I like the characters, it becomes too noisy with too many children yelling. Too busy for me!

I've heard SO many good things about the Kona at The Poly, and that famous Tonga Toast, that I am REALLY tempted to try this in December.

For us we love Crystal Palace. You can go at your own pace and if leisurely is what you want then take your time. We enjoy the vast array of offerings and the fact that the restaurant is situated in the MK is always a plus.

I have heard great things about Kona Cafe and teh Tonga Toast.

We are trying Grand Floridian Cafe in November, the menu looks nice.

I am a fan of the Breakfast Buffets...My all time favorite is the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.

Great way to start a day before the Magic Kingdom!

From what I have been told Boatwright's at the Port Orleans - Riverside is supposed to have a fantastic breakfast.
