I really must be bored today, as I sit here at work. A random thought just shot thru my head - what if Walt Disney had a different name? Something like Bob Smith, or Angus McGuffie. Would it have affected the outcome of his empire? I mean, would everyone rave over SmithLand / McGuffieLand? Bob Smith World? Angus McGuffie World? And don't forget the Wonderful World of Smith or the McGuffie Channel!

I think I need professional help...

What if it became "Ricky Rat" instead of Mickey Mouse?:D

Ricky Rat! Funny. How 'bout Jiminy Cockroach? Fred Pan? Donald Finch? Ethel Poppins? Zingo? And don't get me started on the 7 dwarves! :thedolls:

Dang, you must be bored...

Would that mean Ricky's partner would be Roberta? And the Feb. marathon could be called a "Rat Race..."

I was a pre-teen before I realized there was an actual person named Walt Disney. I just thought it was the name of a park.
I've often wondered what the park would have been named if he was a Jones, Smith, etc. because Disney is not a common name.

My brother and I had this conversation over a year ago. We actually used Bob Smith as an example when we were talking. I guess it was just meant to be with Walt.
