Pixie Dust for My Nephew's Friend

I have some really sad news to share. My nephew went on a family vacation with his best friend this week to Disney. His friend who works for Disney thought it would be nice to go on a Disney cruise.

My nephew flew down to florida with his friends parents and sister and met his friend at Port Canaveral. Everything was going well, until his friends dad said he was not feeling so well, so my nephew and his friend told him to go to the infirmary. He said that they were only 30 miles from being back and that he would go when they were at port.

He started to go back to his stateroom, and my nephew and friend started to walk away when they heard a comotion and people were running around. It was his friends dad, they rushed him to the infirmary, where they tried to save him, but there was nothing they could do. He passed away early this morning. He was only 49 years old.

Please send some pixie dust their way, as they are truly hurting right now.

That is such sad news. My own father passed away at 50 so I know what a shock that can be. :pixie: :pixie:

I just wanted to say thank you for all the Pixie Dust and prayers.

I just spoke with my sister, and Disney is paying the father to be prepared and shipped back home, and is paying for his son's (he works for disney) flight home.

My nephew and the rest of the family had their flight fares waived by the airline.

Prayers and Pixie dust to them all. What a horrible way to end a vacation. It's never easy to lose someone. That's very kind of Disney to step up to the plate and help them take care of things.

How awful for everyone involved. I pray that the family finds the strength they need to go through this process.
Disney was very kind to help out. I wish that they got some good press for this act of kindness instead of the usually bashing.
I hope your nephew is taking care of himself. This is alot for him to handle as well.
