Contemporary Resort Question?

On my last WDW trip in June we did the magical Fireworks Voyage. WHen we did this i saw a building that looked like a coloseaum right behind the Contemporary resort. It was connected by a walkway or a bridge in the sky. Does anyone know what this is?? Is part of the resort, and they are just adding on, or is it something else??

Thanks Tammi, sorry I'm kinda new to this website so it may take awhile for me to get used to things and where things are, lol...

No problem. I just remembered someone asking about it a few days ago. Still doesn't sound like there's official confirmation on what kinds of rooms they'll be exactly, but it's definitely an addition to the resort with that walkway connecting the two.

That what I figured it was gonna be, but I thought it might also be some kind of entertainment center also. So I asked.

Don't they have a Convention Center there that it could have been?
