Alright my fantastic friends, it is time to unveil some (potentially?) good news! As a very special deal to be offered and announced here FIRST (since RELIX owes so much to you & I really love ya guys!) I am pleased to announce news concerning “RELIX – Unearthed; DVD & Promo CD Package.”

The CD/Audio portion is FINISHED!!!! And on July 26th we taped the final performances for the DVD/Video portion. Now it will take me a the better part of a week to edit the DVD segments together and then come up with some sort of packaging design.

In order for us to sell this (yes, we are selling this package so we can start putting money up for the next round at the studio) and get around the issues of not holding copyrights to the cover tunes on the CD segment, the package will consist of a DVD that will feature;
1) Some of the shenanigans that took place in the studio as well as some behind the scenes looks at performances while recording.
2) Live performances from some of our more recent shows.

As a special BONUS for buying the DVD, you get a second audio disc featuring the 5 cover tunes we recorded for demo purposes AND the preview tracks from our very first original CD (to be completed and released before the year’s end… we HOPE!) PLUS a very special BONUS TRACK recorded especially for Disney-Fans (can’t say what it is… you’ll have to get the disc to find out!) PLUS the radio promo for our July 26th show (it was hilarious!)

I’m getting started hoepfully by the end of this week (since I'm booooooored) but don’t want to overproduce or make more than there is an interest for (the task is a little time consuming) so if anyone is interested just PM or email me and we can iron out details. Best guess estimate is that once transactions have been made it should take about a week or 2 to get your package… of course, since I’m getting ready to leave for WDW (23 days and counting!!) it be safer to say this entire thing will be ready to ship by the middle of September!

Ah good, good, it appears there may actually be some interest in this little project after all!

Ok, I'm getting to work as soon as I can find a little piece of audio equipment that I've misplaced in order to begin the editing process for the opening sequence of the DVD part.

The method for getting a copy will be to PM me so I can give you an address to send whatever form of payment to and get your address to send it to you (of course, I already have some of your addy's.... heh...)

Tuesday night I finally managed to crack the whip/negotiate getting to work on further material for the complete CD of our own stuff. We completely played through a song I wrote called "The Quiet Room" and I showed them bits and pieces for a few other songs ("Zero Rox Th' House", "Addiction" and one I half-heartedly call "For The Love Of Rock-n-Roll", but that last song I'm turning over to the drummer to let him write lyrics and to sing.) Chris showed us a song (untitled) he's been working on, so the process has begun. From a batch of older recordings and half finished demo's I'd presented many many months ago when we started this, there were about 3-4 songs there that they really liked and wanted to record, so even if the other guys only contribute a few more songs we should have more than enough material to fill out a full length CD!

Anyway... PM me... Addresses... monetary transactions... recieve your very own copy of "RELIX; UnEarthed"!!!!

Ok, I've sent the needed info along to Cat, Patti, Tinkcollector, Milklady & Rocks (wasn't exactly sure if Doll's reply was a "I want a copy" or not?)

Spread the word... I'm getting ready to roll!!!

I've now sent Nacho the info too....

And actual work has begun!!! I was up until 1:30 am last night transferring video from the 3 source tapes and creating the "Opening Credits" sequence, but as of tonight, the master copy is done and I've burned 2 discs so far. I also spent a few hours on the computer creating covers for the CD's & DVD's as well as labels to go on the discs.

Some changes were made to the final track listing;

"DO YA?" has been added right behind "WHITE WEDDING"
Most of "I'M A BELIEVER" was added right after the "MYSTERY TRACK" (we actually kinda play the 2 songs back-to-back)
"I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU" was cut


I also whipped together a special little photo surprise just for the Intercot/VMK friends!
And I will try to get the guys to sit down long enough to sign each of your copies.
