I prefer Old Key West. It's less points, and the rooms are larger. The two beds opposed to the sofa/bed combo are also an added bonus. My husband and I own at Saratoga Springs, but we really like OKW.

I'm a little confused....

I know that for a 1-bdrm SSR, there is a couch that makes into a bed (in the livingroom), and a bedroom with one bed.

What is there for OKW for a 1-bdrm?

OKW gets my vote. A sofa bed can be uncomfortable-even for a child.:mickey:

The sofa beds are not the traditional sofa beds you see normally. There is no bar in the middle and the mattress is quite thick. My large 16 year old soon slept in one at OKW and he loved it nothing like the one at his grandparents house. I laid on it too to check it out. I thought it was very comfortable. I don't think you need to worry at all.

Both resorts are very nice.
Assuming you're in a studio?
If the bed is of concern, head to OKW. The rooms are bigger there and your son will be in a bed, not a sofa bed.

OKW has the same set-up, but in studio accomodations, the second "bed" at SSR is a pull out sleeper sofa, and at OKW there are two beds.

So the 1 bedroom has 2 beds in it (instead of the other 'master bedroom' set up)....?

No. The setup at OKW and SSR for the 1BR is the same (except for size, of course!)

Only the studio setup differs.
