My little creation...

My children's daycare provider is also my cousin and best friend. We decided that we would not do birthday gifts this year (due to everything being so expensive and tight times).

I wanted to do something special for her from the kids as a birthday 'thank you' for taking such good care of them. I made her a candy bar cake tonight (its my first) and I thought it came out pretty good. The supplies cost me about $20 and it took me two hours.

I only got to see the first pic, when I tried to see the second one it said that snapfish was doing updates. But, from the first picture I could tell it is adorable. :thumbsup: Where did you get the idea? it's wonderful!

That is so cute! What a great idea and so much fun. And you don't have to worry about cake getting old and stale. I would love getting a "cake" like that. :thumbsup:

Thanks! I originally thought of sending her an Edible Delight bouquet, but they are so expensive! Then, I recalled seeing candy bar bouquets on the internet, so I searched those, too. They are equally as pricey. During my search I found a candy bar cake and it was $46 plus shipping. I figured I could do the same for less...and it would be fun.

I don't have much of a creative side, so when it came out pretty good, I was very excited!!
