Same cast of characters~
Weather ~ about 89 (not as hot and humid as last year!)
We got up early and headed to MK. We arrived just in time to watch the opening ceremonies, which in all my years going to WDW I had never seen. It was awesome! :cloud9:
We headed right into the park and did all of Tomorrow Land. I loved Laugh Floor . I thought it was soo cute! We got right onto Buzz Light year and Space Mountain without more than a 20 minute wait for each ride. It was great! We did Stitch for the 1st time and I thought that was a little corny and it scared my little guy (5) to death! He didn't like it at all. :down:
We then headed to Splash Mountain to grab fast passes and then over to the Haunted Mansion with again only a 10 minute wait! I loved the changes I thought they were subtle but just enough so you knew things were different. I totally enjoyed it. The kids then went on Splash Mountain and we called it a day. It was getting hot by then!
For dinner we headed to the Grand Floridain for 1900 Park Fare and loved it! They did an amazing job ( thankfully since Chef Mickey's the night before was horrible)...and kudos go out to Chef Mike. I was at the dessert station with my son struggling with the ice cream machine. I had 2 dishes in my hand (which were on the verge of falling )and was trying to keep my little guy from running all over the place. Chef Mike :chef: came out from behind the buffet station and was fantastic! Grabbed both of my plates before they fell and helped my son get his ice cream. As little as that sounds ,in the moment he made my night. What a nice guy!
I thoughy what a nice way to end the day!
