Nov. 2 -8 Not designated as lighter crowd period

Any idea why the WDW site would remove the "lighter crowd" highlight from the calendar on the first week of November. The week before and after are designated as lighter crowds. Is a part of the country on fall break that week?

It is Jersey Week. New Jersey schools are closed on the Thursday and Friday of that week, and many New Jersey families take the entire week as vacation.

Thanks for the tip. I have avoided Columbus day week in the past because it is usually Fall break in the south. We will be there Oct 30 - Nov 4, I don't think it will be that bad with just one state on break.

Last year was not bad at all, but we had a couple days of rain that made our first couple of days hard. But crowds were not bad.

We have been during Jersey Week the past two years (and are returning again this year) and the crowds are not bad at all!!
