Do you still get 2 snack credits when using ts for counter?

last 2 trips on the free dining plan disney gave you 2 snack credits if you used a table service credit for a counter service meal. Is this still the case this year?:mickey:

This policy was not announced in-advance in year's past, so it seems unlikely it would be this year.

It will likely not be known if this same option will be offered until the promotional period begins.

When we used the ts for counter service we still only got one snack per person per night stay. Is this something you have to ask for or do they tell you when you swap?

I believe you had to tell them you were doing it, they gave you a couple of passes or something. We exchanged for some pins too - that was an offer when we were there last September. They had little table tent postings in our hotel (ASMu).

We got lanyards and a couple of pins when we used a counter meal when all we had left were sit down meals.

We also had info listing the specific options of what 1 TS credit could be exchanged for in our room. It appears they offer the exchanges during a free dining promo when the TS restaurants become so booked that it's difficult for guests with free dining to get into them. Unusable free dining TS credits = unhappy guests. I assume that is also why they open up some lunch ADR options that are not normally available.
