hows the epcot dive tour?

my husband and son would love to go on the epcot snorkle tour - the one you don't have to be scuba certified for - how is that? is it worth the $

Yes. It is worth every penney. My DH and DD have done it twice now. Once when she was 11, and once when she was 12, and they are doing it again in 3 weeks! (she's still 12)...
They take a behind the scenes tour, learn about the tank, how they feed the fish (they actually have chefs that prepare food for the sea creatures!)..they suit up, and in they go. It is beautiful. The highlight of their time in WDW. It brings tears to my eyes to see them swim together in that huge tank. I am so proud of my DD. She's come nose to nose with a sea turtle (her fave!) while in there. They take a picture together and get a shirt. I can't say enough good things about the experience they have had in there together. This is the Aqua Seas tour..the one that they do not need to be scuba certified.

Oh my gosh! Do it! DH and I want to get SCUBA certified so we can go all the way down. It was amazing. So many surprises inside of that tank that only a diver could see. We just did it this May. I'll give you the link to the review as well as pictures.

Te tank is amazing, the water is so clear, its a great experinece for the novice to the advanced. Even a well traveled diver like myself still is amazed by the variety and accessibility to the sealife in that tank.

Snorkle or scuba, both are tremendous.

Also the staff there are totally terrific- i have done 3 of the scuba sessions and each time i got the same tremendous experience.
