Typhoon Lagoon snorkeling-age limit?

Is there a minimum age for kids to do the snorkeling attraction? My youngest DS will be 7 on our next trip and I'd hate to go there and find out he can't do it. Thanks! :mickey:

Do you mean the snorkeling with the shark thing? My then 6-yo DS was able to do it last year, no problem. He wore a life vest and DH went across with him, but he was fine. He got chosen to be the "Jr. Lifeguard of the Day", so we got a couple of photopass pics and he and DH got to go across by themselves.

My DD was 6 when we went last year in October. She had the best time and did beautifully, and was not scared of anything!!

He will have so much fun!!!

I have no idea the official age, but my DS did it at 5, and no one said anything. He is tall for his age.
