Disney Dollars

Can Disney Dollars be purchased at hotels or gift shops? Or is my only option Town Hall at MK?

We bought some last year at our resort. We stayed at Saratoga Springs. My daughter lost her first tooth while at Disney World so we thought what better way than for Tinkerbell to take over the tooth fairy's duties and leave her some Disney Dollars under her pillow!

You can still purchase them at you local Disney store.

Yep DW bought them for our DD at the Disney Store in Memphis recently. The DD wins Disney Dollars for answering trivia questions daily -- creative way for her to earn her spending money for souvenirs. Max of $50.

My Disney Store in the Pittsburgh area (there is only one left) has been out of Disney Dollars and they don't know when they will be getting any and my trips is about 19 days away.

if your local store does not have the Disney Dollars, another option could be getting the disney gift card.
i got all the $5 and $10 ones they had left and used the rest of the money i was going to spend on them and just got a gift card. unlike the Disney Dollars if you loose the cash your outta luck, but if you loose the gift cad you can get it replaced as long as you have they original receipt.

You can purchase them in the parks at the customer service counter and at downtown Disney at the customer service counter there. The downtown Disney CS has a lot of different dollars-so if you are collecting, they may have the specific one you want.:cool:

Where exactly is Customer Service at DTD? I just might get their DD$'s there. Afterall, we have to go the BBB the day we get there. If anyone can tell the general for customer service, that would be great.

They are located next to Team Micky in the area where they used to take the photographs and make the t-shirts.

I'm not positive,but as far as I know there is a Disney Store in Ross Park Mall. They may have Disney Dollars available.:mickey:

I think you can pretty much get them at any place on property

I ordered some when I booked my trip in 2005 and gave them to my family for Christmas, we left for DW Christmas day so it gave them a few extra bucks to spend in the parks

We have purchased Disney dollars at both our local Disney store and at the Disney resorts. They are great for the DS's to keep up with what they have for their souvenear money! There is also a customer service kiosk in DTD on the West Side. It is located almost straight across from Planet Hollywood. We parked & walked into DTD right in front of PH & straight over to CS, it was so easy!

Another good place to get them would be at Guest Relations or even Mousegears at Epcot. We tend to get the best selection there!

Thanks for the advice! We're doing gift cards this trip, but I always like to pick up a couple of Disney Dollars for souvenears. :mickey:
