Can someone tell me all the benefits you receive from staying on the Club Level Concierge? I am in the honeymoon suite at WL and I was just curious.

Thank you!!

Before your trip, you are able to touch base with pre-planning CM's, commonly referred to as IPO. They usually communicate via e-mail and they'll assist you with making ADR's, setting up tours, spa appointments, etc. Basically it's one stop shopping for your convenience. You could luck out and get a CM who will help to make your trip truly special.

When you arrive, if it's between 7am and 10pm, your check-in will be done up on the club level floor. You sit at a desk with the CM, instead of having to stand in line. The club level can only be accessed by someone with a specially coded room key. Some resorts send them out ahead of time, while others have either the bellman or a CM escort you upstairs.

During your stay, there is a lounge which has an assortment of snacks and drinks available throughout the day. For example, from 7-10:30am, you can get yogurt, fruit, cold cereal, bagels and juices. From 11am-4pm there are sodas and bowls of snacks. From 5-7pm there is wine and beer available, with cheese & crackers, sliced vegetables, a soup/stew and one other hot appetizer. From 8-10pm there are cordials and desserts. Seating is available around the interior balcony, which is pretty nice.

There are CM's on duty each day from 7am-10pm who can help you with any last minute arrangements. Turndown service is offered each night in your room.

Hope that helps.

I hope you have a wonderful trip. We wre Club Level at WL in April and I really hope your experience will be much better than ours. We did Poly Club Level in January and loved it but we had such a bad experience at WL Club level that I can't bring my self to book another Disney vacation at this time. It will take me some time to get over how terrible it was. I hope it was just timing and a couple of rude CMs.

Hello,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

We stayed at the WL Club level in December and had a wonderful experience. Our club contact was able to get all of our ADR more than 190 days out before the general public could book their ADRs. So, we were able to get all of our desired ADRs.

We had wonderful mousekeepers - every day we received cute little towel animals/ creatures. WE splured on concierge because my mom was comimg with us and it was her first trip to WDW in over 15 years. And, now, she said she couldn't stay at any other level at WDW.

We thoroughly enjoyed the snack offerings and mealtime offerings each day - and, we especially enjoyed the wine, beer cordials. And, I believe the latte machine saved my party at least $40 a day = we all love coffee. The sodas, juice and water also came in handy! We found the breakfast offerings to more than enough for breakfast each day - we ended up only dining at a restaurant for breakfast 2 out of our 7 mornings.

Are the rooms any different on the concierge level or is it just the service and benefits?

Are the rooms any different on the concierge level or is it just the service and benefits? The basic setup of the room is exactly the same. They aren't any bigger or anything like that. You might find that there are bathrobes in the closet and I believe all the club level rooms come with a dvd player. That's about the only difference.

What is turn down service?
Thanks :mickey:

The turndown service at WL includes providing news towels and bathroom linens if you used your set from the morning, turning on the radio to a soft music, turning back your bed spread, turning on the lights softly and shutting your drapes and leaving chocolate on the pillows.

And to clarify, there is also lobby concierge, which is available to any guest of the resort. They basically offer many of the same services, they're just dealing with a much larger group, so you might have to wait in line.

Turndown service is automatic when staying on the club level. It's available by request, but not guaranteed in any deluxe Disney resort. When we stayed in a GF honeymoon suite, the person doing our turndown would leave some rose petals on the bed with my nightgown.

Hmmm. I was told by Disney that because I booked my trip through a travel agent, any "concierge" type activity would have to be done through the travel agent. Has anyone else heard of this?

I had contacted the Disney "question line" via email to see if a CM from the club level was supposed to contact me prior to the trip or if I was to initiate contact. Feeling a bit frustrated at this point, considering our trip is in 30 days. Luckily DH and I are obsessive about getting the ADR's we want so did that asap.

.

No, that is definitely not correct. We normally give all client info to the Planning Office so they can initiate contact. If we do get anything from Planning, we fwd it on to the client.

I have notice pre-planning is very sporadic since they combined and moved the Planning Offices out of the hotels. I stayed Polynesian Concierge in Sept and was never contacted prior to arrival. Like you, I had done all my ADR's anyway.

queenmom, the info they gave you was kind of correct. As Nanci pointed out, she passes along the clients contact to Disney, so they can e-mail them directly. Not all travel agents do that. A Disney club level pre-planner could have gotten in touch with your travel agent and they might not have passed that along to you. I had one instance where they didn't contact me ahead of time, so since then, I've always initiated the first e-mail. That way, I'm sure to be in their system.

What club level are you staying on? I'd be happy to give you their direct e-mail and phone number. That way, you can touch base with them prior to your arrival and if you give them your ADR confirmation numbers, they'll place them on your personal itinerary.
