Tink2006 day 1 report

Who: DH, DS15 (Marcus), Myself AND our DS best friend15 (Matt) (first timer).
Where: POR
Length: 4 nights/3 days in the parks (VERY short trip).
We arrived at WDW around 6:00 PM Tuesday 7/8. I was concerned, with such a late check in, that my room request (Oak Manor, first floor) would not be possible. Once again, Disney came thru :number1: We had a perfect location!

After a quick settling in, we headed for DTD. It was spinkling so out come the famous yellow ponchos. I told Matt (first timer)welcome to the Disney ways....He was in shock. He could not believe that I would wear such a thing lol :secret: :mickey:

It was very crowded but we managed to do some major shopping. We had a quick dinner at Earl of Sandwich. Wonderful, as usual! It was a great way to ease into the Disney Magic :mickey:

Reading this report really gets me pumped up! My DW and I will be staying at POR and have requested a mansion room as well.

Gotta love those bright yellow ponchos! I think we have some yellow and clear ones still from past trips :blush:!

I never got the yellow ponchos.....however, we had the blue ones, which we got at MGM (then). Now we have the clear YOMD ponchos. Thanks for sharing.....anxiously waiting for more.:mickey::mickey:
