Magical Gatherings

I think this is what they call it when you book a large group. We are probably traveling with a group of 10 or mor of us on our next trip. Do we count under this? And if we book under this will they guarantee our rooms togethor? And is there any additional fee? Thanks.

Magical Gatherings is a group of 8 or more travelling together, I know they have special offers for them...don't know about room guarantees

I think it's more for special tours and making ADRs.

1) They try to keep rooms together.
2) They do not guarantee they are together or close.
3) Rooms at WDW are never guaranteed.

We have been a magical gathering 3 times in the last 4 years. Our rooms have always been together. A CM told us that the room assigner will pick those rooms first on checkin day. WDW will not guarantee, but they will try. Last year, our daughter and family wanted to connect to us. They did not checkin until 3 days after us. Someone else was in that room, but on daughter's checkin day, she was given the room. Our other daughter was on the otherside. All worked out great. I suggest always going as gathering, when you have over 8 people. It costs nothing extra. Have fun!!!!
