Who Killed the Electric Car?

Has anyone seen this Documentary? It came out in 2006 and is very interesting. It's about an electric car called the EV1 made by GM that worked very well and could go about 100 miles per charge. I think the car was made in the mid 1990's. Then all of a sudden GM made everyone who had one give them back with no explination and they destroyed just about all of them.

I have not seen the documentary... If I recall correctly, it was a lease though and there was no buyout option, or something to that effect... So, no real explaination needed.

They did only lease them.

I have seen this Doc and enjoyed it.

I don't plan on buying another car until I can afford a more Green option.

I have not seen the entire documentary, but I've seen several clips of it, and it looks very good. I'd like to watch the whole thing.

GM shows why they're doing so well by creating a car that some customers love, and then doing everything they can to rip them out of their customers' hands, then say that proves that no one wants that car.

Entertaining doc, infuriating corporation.
