Well we are getting very close in our countdown, so I thought this was a great time to post our Pre-Trip report. So here is the low-down...

Who:
DH - 40 (turning 41 on trip) Disney enthusiast
Me - 35 Disney Fanatic!
DD - 12 Disney Fanatic, but wants to try a different vacation next year :(!
DMom - 56
DStepdad - 54
DNephew - 2
They will be meeting up with us for the last 2 days of our trip in WDW.

When:
August 11 - 21. We have a late flight into Orlando on the 11th and will be staying at the Hyatt Orlando International Airport, then moving onto the Poly in the early morning via ME. We are in the World from the 12 - 17. Then we board the Disney Wonder from the 17- 21. Our first time cruising and VERY EXCITED!

Agenda:

Well we usually take a very early morning flight into Orlando, but the price was great leaving late the night before, so we grabbed the opportunity to be in Orlando a day sooner. After a peaceful night sleep in the Hyatt, we will board the ME for our stay at the wonderful Poly!

Day 1 is Epcot with no ADR's planned
Day 2 is Disney Studios - dinner at Sci Fi
Day 3 is MK/Epcot - Dinner at OHana's
Day 4 is AK - dinner at Rainforest Downtown
Day 5 is MK - breakfast at Kona Cafe
- dinner at Crystal Palace
Day 6 is a free morning to spend with family and finish packing for the cruise.
Day 7 - Castaway Cay - bikes and snorkeling
Day 8 - Nassau - Atlantis Dolphin Excursion
Day 9 - Castaway Cay - floating and relaxation
Day 10 - HOME :(

Now it is time to start really planning and making lots of lists so I don't forget anything!

Can't wait to get back "home"! :mickey:

You must be so excited! We are heading down there Aug.4-14 and I know we are too! It sounds like you have a lot of great things planned. Enjoy the last minute running around and have a great trip!

Good luck w/ the lists! We're leaving in less than 3 weeks and everyday I feel like I still have so much to do! I'll just be happy when everything's packed and ready to go.

I know what a treat this trip is for you! I am glad that it all worked out to get the dolphin excursion that you wanted. The Poly, the great ADR's, the cruise....it all sounds so wonderful!! Have an awesome time!

Sounds like it is going to be a great trip. We have never been on the cruise and are entertaining the idea of crusing next time so I'm interested in hearing all the highlights and lowlights.
