AKL Safari

Okay, where did I read this?
Is there a safari at Animal Kingdom Lodge that is just for AKL guests?
I have a friend staying there next week, so tell me I didn't dream this...

Don't worry, you're not dreaming! AKL actually has 2 safaris that are for lodge guests only - the Sunrise Safari and the Sunset Safari. The only catch is that you have to stay in concierge level to take part in either safari (and pay lots of extra $$!). I think the Sunset one is longer and actually goes through the savannas at the lodge, and includes a dinner at Jiko afterward. The Sunrise safari is actually in AK (park) and it's a long ride through the Kilimanjaro Safari attraction with breakfast at Tusker House (I think). I've never been able to do either of these, but have always wanted to! They both sound really neat! Hope this helps! :mickey:

I think the only safari at AKL is the Sunset Safari and is worth every penny (the cost of AKL Concierge AND the additional cost of the tour, per person of course).
