CBR Refurb Question

I just read on JHM (I know, I know, that's why I'm asking), that among the changes in the refurbed rooms, is the removal of fridges???! What's the deal with that?

The following is the list of refurbishments items as filed with the county:
General demolition, finish carpentry, sealants & caulking, painting, plumbing, reupholstery of select existing upholstered furniture, installation of new window treatments, refinishing of select existing items, assembly and installation of new FF&E {Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment}, installation of carpet and base Granted not specifically listing refrigerator removal doesn't mean it couldn't be part of the refurbishment.

Typically, Disney will release an update to travel agents and media representatives when they make a drastic change to amenities.

As soon as this change can be confirmed or denied, The Staff will be sure to post it.
