Tournament of Attractions!: Semifinal: Big Thunder Mtn VS Pirates of the Caribbean

This next one is getting posted a few hours early, however I'm going to be away for part of the weekend and wanted the Tournament of Attractions! to keep going. I think this one may be tough...more tough than the last one, that is. Let's go!

Although Big Thunder is a good ride. POTC is a one-of-a-kind ride. Frankly, I think it would even make a good movie.;)

I love them both but went with BTMRR for sentimental reasons--it was the first thrill ride I rode and the first my sister rode so I had to go with it! :mickey:

Although Big Thunder is a good ride. POTC is a one-of-a-kind ride. Frankly, I think it would even make a good movie.;) Or maybe three...

This one was way to hard to choose. I had to go with POTC because of sentimental reasons. But I love BTMRR because it was my first thrill ride. This one is not fair.:(

I really enjoy BTMRR, being in the last car. However, I can't enjoy it with my DH as he isn't a thrill seaker.....so it's a pirate's life for me....and him!:mickey:

up until a couple of weeks ago I would have picked POTC. They have changed the soundtrack to make it more PC. So its the wildest ride in the wilderness for me.

Yep, its a tough choice. But BTMRR's the choice even though we always do POTC first on a trip.

Has to be Pirates - my first ever Disney ride - the first ride every trip and the one ride the whole family loves!

I had to say Pirates. Big Thunder gives me a headache, it's too rough, and the older I get, the more painful it is to ride it. My kids LOVE it though.

As we get further along in the voting it keeps getting tougher. Love both of these greatly but I went with POTC because it is such a classic.

I went with BTMRR, because I think it one of the most genuine attractions at WDW. POTC used to be genuine, but then they had to go commercial and insert the characters from the 'hit' movies... BTMRR for me.

Although I like both, I think you get more out of Pirates of the Caribbean than Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Besides, you get to be inside in the air conditioning for Pirates of the Caribbean.
