When I heard Tusker House was changing from a (swell) CS location to a buffet I kind of assumed (and hoped) part of the reason for the change was the success of Boma and that Tusker House would become the lunch time "Boma Jr." even borrowing some recipes from Boma.

So the question for those of you who have been to both Boma and Tusker House as a buffet is, is Tusker House like Boma?

The menus don't look the same, Boma's is quite extensive

I haven't been yet, but the menu sort of makes it look like Boma Light.

I've been to both places at least a couple times each for breakfast. At that meal, at least, both places are very similar. As a matter of fact, they serve the same Frunch at Tusker House as they do at Boma (I asked CM and she verified it).

Yes, they do have Frunch for breakfast along with Beef Bobtie Quiche and Mealie Pap.
I have not been there for lunch or dinner but have seen things like Tabbouleh, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Marrakesh Couscous on their menus.
