NASCAR Team Shop Tours?

We are heading to North and South Carolina in a few weeks. DH has mentioned he would be interested in visiting some of the shops of the racing teams. Has anyone ever gone on the tours? We aren't die-hard fans for one team or driver and they all seem to be in the same general area. I was hoping to visit the shop that lets you see the most of what goes on...any suggestions?

We live in Mooresville and my husband works for a team. I do not know about all shops but they usually have a place were you can see in to the shops. People are usually working on the cars. Hendrick motorsports and I think Rousch are in the same area. My advise is to stop off at the visitors center in Huntersville on exit 23 off of I-77. They should have a map of all the shops and locations. Or any visitors center might have one. They are located all over the place. Any other questions please feel free to ask.

My inlaws stopped off at Hendrick's once and loved it. Plenty to see there.
