No picture but I can vouch for you on how large they are. They must be from some type of mutant turkey! And they are good.....

Do a search in google images and you can see plenty of pics with people eating them. Gives you a good idea of the size in comparison to somebody's head. :D

The Unwrapped WDW special on Food Network has a segment on the turkey legs. They are 1-1.5 pounds and they come from a specific kind of turkey.

Enormous-turkeyous-eatumupous, I think.

Over 1.5 million turkey legs are sold every year.

The legs come from upper Midwestern turkeys that range from 40-50 pounds. Each leg weighs about 1.5 pounds.

The flavor comes from a salt water cure injected into the muscle tissue. The drumsticks are then slow-cooked in a smoker for six hours.

This isn't the best picture but you can see the turkey leg is about the size of my head in this photo. They really are mutant. This was my first experience with the turkey leg and it was more than enough for DH and me.

I hope this (http://brewcrew26.shutterfly.com/action/slideshow?caid=67b0de21b34050d4250e&a=67b0de21b34050d4250e&auto=0&idx=53&m=1&d=1214877037063) is enough to prove how big the turkey legs are to your co-worker! :mickey:
