Wondering if anyone, has an idea when 09' March AAA rate will be available. Thought it was usually in the summer?

Thanks SJ4vr

Last year-first week of August. We were in Iowa for a wedding and we called from there. I was told by a cm to expect next years rates out in early August. Hope that helps.

I don't want to take this discussion, but do you get good discounts with AAA vs. regular bookings direct through Disney? How do they offer better rates? Can you get the full boat through AAA? Resort, tickets and meals? I'm sure this has been asked before so thanks for your patience.

I am also curious. We just got a AAA membership and was wondering how much we can save.

We booked through AAA on our last Disney trip and it took off $400 from what we were quoted through Disney Travel. We booked the whole pkg through AAA...room, tickets, dining plan.
This time I will get a quote from Magical Journeys, AAA, and Disney Travel and go with the best deal.

Yes, you can do packages, I don't do them (have ap), my july aaa rate at cr is better than the ap rate at the same time. So yes, it is worth it. you can go to there site and play around to get prices. But I usually book with disney on the phone.

I just completed a 6 night stay at the WL and booked through MJ with a AAA discount and I saved approx $400 over non AAA.

I could be mistaken, but I think for the most part, unless Disney itself authorizes a package discount, about the only other year round discount package you can get is thru AAA.

It depends on whether you are booking a value, moderate or deluxe room, and at what time of year, but the AAA discounts can be as much as 20% off, or as low as 10%.

At times I've found the AAA discount to be better than any Disney authorized discount.

Other package deals may save you more on airfare or car rental, but AAA is a good fall back for discounted rates. Just be aware, there is a limited number of rooms available at AAA rates.

It sounds like early August. I plan to check in a few weeks. I'll let you know if I see anything.
