When will Disney be releasing 2009 prices? I'm thinking about a May 2009 trip. 180 days out is in September, do you think we'll see anything by then?

We're waiting for those 2009 rates as well! I called the other day and they told me that they will be out late July/early August. I was also told that I could "hold" my rooms until those rates came out and I was able to book. We aren't going until October 2009 so it's too early for me to hold my rooms-I can next week:) So hopefully we'll see some rates next month!:mickey:

I am also planning a May 2009 trip and was told the rates will probably come out in August. Are you sure the 180 mark is in Sept.? I figured it out to be in Nov. for a May trip.

Wow... what was I thinking? You're absolutely right; it's November, not September.

I, too, am waiting and waiting for the 2009 prices to be released so that our December 2009 trip can be made official! My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to WDW for my birthday and included a $200 AAA gift certificate in my gift that will go toward our deposit, and I can't wait to put it to use!

:mickey:I am waiting too. Impatiently of course, lol. I am wanting to get our March 2009 trip booked. It just seem real unless i have it booked and start paying for it. I guess I am just weird like that.

We are thinking about becoming DVC members. If I do that I can book at SSR with our bonus points in August.

I have already booked our April 2009 room at POFQ and they will send a letter with the official rates once they are released. At that time I can also call back and get the AAA rates. I wanted to get in early since we are going over Easter and wanted to make sure we got the resort we wanted.

I looked on the historical discounts and noticed there were none for Jan 2008 for the public only AP and Visa holders. Did anyone else notice this? No public discounts until March 2008. Do you think it will be the same for Jan 2009? :(
