What characters frequent DL and CA?

I've been to WDW, but hubby and I have never been to DL. We are interested to know what characters to look out for during our trip there in late September.

That time of year you can typically find
Mickey, Minnie & other surprise visitors in
Town Square just off to the right.

Buzz Lightyear can be found in Tomorrowland
off and on throughout the day near the Star
Trader or near the exit of Space Mountain.
Other characters also frequent this area in the
heat of the day.

In Critter Country, head over to the exit
of Splash Mountain and you will find Pooh,
Eyore & Tigger most of the day in August.

Most characters in DCA are in the Hollywood
backlot. Mike and Sully wander the area and
keep a lookout for Cruella making appearances
out of her spotted trailer just left of the
Hyperion Theater.

Often you will find one of their escorts nearby
and they can let you know about any special
or unannounced appearances later that day.

We saw alot of Mary Poppins and Burt all over Main Street on Monday. :)

Oh and my hubby almost took out Jack Sparrow in AdventureLand. :blush: We had just bought a bottle of water as it was HOT that day!! As we were walking away, my hubby said he felt someone pulling his water out of his hand, he turned around to give someone a piece of his mind and Jack Sparrow decided he didnt' want it after all. LOL

At Disneyland, I've seen Mary Poppins by the queue to Casey Jr. Train. I've also seen various Princesses scattered around the side walkways around Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Little Mermaid has her little grotto in a walkway off the main spoke in front of the castle going towards the Matterhorn. Besides seeing Minnie and Mickey around Town Square, I've also seen Goofy and Donald, and maybe another character or two, in that same sort of area. I think I've also seen Woody and Jessie in Frontierland. At DCA, I've seen Flick at It's a Bugs Land. Characters from Brother Bear can be found around Redwood Creek Challange Trail. If you pick up a map going through the turnstiles, it will have scheduled events, including regularly scheduled character meets. For characters that just sort of show up, I'd ask a cast member.

If you have a Disney Visa, you can schedule a 'private' character time at DCA. I believe it is around 10am each day - I'm sure you can check with guest services to be certain. I think the characters change daily, so it's a toss up who will be there that day.

Several princesses and sometimes a prince or two will show up at Ariel's Grotto in DCA.

Mulan often hangs out by the Golden Dreams theater and we've seen Mushu there as well. (in DCA)
