It would appear if you are not from the US , guest services keep your passport & hand it back to you when you get back Cape Canaveral

We are from the UK & the only photo id we have is our passports

Do we need photo id to get back on board & any suggestions how to overcome this problem if we do?

You need a photo ID to get on and off the ship. It may be as simple as giving you a copy of your passport, but I'm not positive.

I'd suggest getting in touch with DCL directly and asking them. They're great at getting back to you as quickly as possible.

The only Disney cruise we did was a few years ago but I remember this issue. I made copies of the passports before we gave them in just in case but they actually made copies for us and those were what we used.
