Well, this cast of characters should give you the first clue to the degree of chaos we would face. But I was the ultimate optimist and knew it would be a wonderful vacation for us all.

It was a long day of packing and you would think that knowing we would have a washer in our villa would cut down on the amount of packing. WRONG!!! Any amount of girls going on a trip calls for too much packing. We came about as close to the 50lb mark as we could. It was a huge relief to know that SWA still allows 2 checked bags per ticketed passenger. One issue down, 10 days of issues more to go.

Our flight was scheduled to depart RDU at 0645 so we decided to spend the night at the airport so we could sleep an extra hour in the morning, especially knowing we would be arriving at MCO at 0820. A long day ahead of us, gotta’ get some sleep…. Hey wait, I forgot my sneakers. This is not going to be good…

On one trip, we headed to an airport hotel for the night before our trip. Along the way, my husband realized he had not changed out of his office shoes and his sneakers were still at home waiting for him! Fortunately, with just our hotel reservation to get to that evening, we were able to return home to pick up the forgotten sneakers!

Sounds like a great cast for your upcoming trip!

I missed this post before I read the others. Oops. Anyhow, what a crew to be travelling with. Sounds like fun. When were you at WDW? Just wondering if you may have been there the same time as me. I was the other 37 year old lady that felt 100 from all the stuff that we did in a week. Did you see me there???;) Glad I already know how the sneaker thing ends!!:D
