Any discounts for mid August?

Does anyone expect any discounts to be announced for mid August? I have never went this time of year so I'm unsure if there is ever a discount. I hope so as i'm current paying $94 a night for a preferred room at ASM and I'm hoping to do better (there were not any AAA rate rooms available).

I received a great discount for POP for mid Aug.
I requested a Disney planning DVD and received an e-mail with a discount code. I contacted Terri Sue from MJ and she got us a rate of $49 per night. I don't know if that discount is still available, but you might want to try ordering the DVD and see what happens.

The email code is a very select, random sort of thing. It doesn't hurt to contact Magical Journeys or WDW and ask, but, in general, there are no public discounts available for that time frame as it is still peak season.
