Here it is . . . The Wedding. My DS (sister), DM and DF were already at WDW when I arrived on Friday, so the beginning of this report comes really from them. All of this takes place at the GF (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939) and the wedding pavilion. My DS, Brie, was one of the bridesmaids for the wedding, so we got a first hand look at what really was a fairytale wedding.

The bachelorette/bachelor party took place Thursday night beginning at the Hoop-dee-doo Review and finishing off at PI. Nothing out of the ordinary. But Friday, that’s a different story. . . The bridesmaids and bride began the day with a brunch on the Grand 1 (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939)! They cruised the 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake while enjoying a catered champagne brunch. Early afternoon brought a rehearsal for the ceremony, followed by dinner for all at 1900 Park Fare. I think the ugly stepsisters were very jealous of the bride. The Bridal party then headed for MK.

The day of the wedding began with rain and one worried Bride. Luckily it rained in the morning, early afternoon and very late evening (when we were at the reception). My DS reported to the Bride’s room at 1pm to have her hair done. Very elegant. Since the Bride’s room was being used as a beauty parlor, my DS and the Bride used our room to nap, forcing (haha) my DM and I to the GF spa. Around 6:30, the wedding party headed to the GF lobby for photos. If you were there Memorial Day weekend, and at the GF Saturday evening, you might have seen the bridesmaids decked out in black, strapless, Vera Wang dresses and the Bride in a stunning, ivory, strapless, mermaid gown.

Finally the time for the wedding was upon us and we walked to the wedding pavilion, while the wedding party was escorted in white limos. It was beautiful. There were hydrangeas (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939) fashioned into balls with silk draped from the windows and arches. Hydrangeas also garnished the pews along with clear cubes of gel. The ceremony itself was lovely, filled with Disney music. The bride walked down the aisle to the theme of Philharmagic! After the ceremony the guests lined the walkway to the pavilion (there were about 90 guests) prepared to blow bubbles at the happy couple, but before they could reach us a fireworks (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939) display erupted behind the pavilion. The bride and groom left the pavilion in a white horse drawn carriage. Wow.

At about 8:30 we had cocktails and appetizers in a patio (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939) in the GF convention center. It was surrounded by a rose garden and the monorail zoomed by up above. At 9:30 we were ushered into the salons where the reception was to take place. It was gorgeous (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939). Simply lovely. The bride and groom began their first dance to Queens “Another One Bites the Dust”. It was very cute. Dinner was a 5 course meal that consisted of: crab cakes, Caesar salad, raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palette, tender filet and lobster tail (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939), followed by cake and ice cream for dessert! The favors (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939) were to be gathered yourself on a table laden with sweets (http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=233764873/PictureID=5116984616/a=74730939_74730939/t_=74730939), all in their colors of light blue, green and white. They even had Oreos dipped in white chocolate with their initials monogrammed on them! What an event.

Basically it was a wedding fit for a prince and princess and I for one will not be forgetting it for some time to come! Also - this is my first attempt at linking photos, so hopefully it works. I also didn't want to include personal photos of people, hope ya'll don't mind!

Oh no! Some of the photo links aren't quite right:blush:, but it takes you to a slide show of all the pictures of the event (a whopping 11 of them), so just check it out!
