Car Rental

We plan on arriving in Florida on Oct 4th. We will be visiting friends until Oct 6th,then we will be checking into the CR. If we rent a car at the airport on the 4th, is there anywhere closer to WDW we car drop/return the car? I guess I am looking for what rental places offer something like this. Then, any ideas of how to actually get to the resort? I was thinking of then just cabbing it from wherever to the Contemporary???

Alamo and National have sites on Disney World property. If you return there, you won't even need a cab!

We have done this several times, once we returned the car to the Dolphin and several times to the car care center. It has to be an Alamo or a National rental though. I think I remember someone saying something about Enterprise having a shuttle,but I am not positive about that.
