View Full Version : I Have Some Very Excellent News!

Yes, it's true. I'm graduating this year from home school.
The one bad thing about that is I don't get a diploma right away.
I have to go out and get a GED.
The only thing that scares me is the essay portion. :bolt:
250 words sounds like a lot.
When that's over, my plan is to head back to my home state of Florida and do the Disney Career Start Program. I'm not sure how I feel about living with a bunch of roommates, but I'm very excited. I may even want to be a full-time Cast Member after the program.
Great Movie Ride someday?
I normally don't share a lot of information about my life on the internet, but you are all dear friends:hug: and I really want to share this with you. My life is going to change drastically soon, hopefully for the better. I'm going to miss my community theatre, but Walt Disney World is calling me.

Congrats Even! You will be fine. Just think of that essay as one of your songs. You do such a great job at those. Think of it as flowing the same way.

Keep us up to date and you have your family here awaiting the news. :D

Congratulations and don't worry about the essay, it'll be easy and done before you know it.

Look forward to seeing you in the parks one day soon.

(and I love your signature line, not to put too fine a point on it) Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to whistling in the dark!:D

Well, if you ask me, that doesn't seem quite right if you completed the course work for the home school program but hey what do I know? If you are worried about the essay go to Barnes and Nobles or a library (I hear they still have those in some towns) and get one of those study books on writing essays....250 words really isn't that much! I am sure you will do just fine! Good luck future CM!

Thanks everybody! This is really encouraging. Yes, the whole home school concept is a bit more complicated than it should be by now, but I made it this far. I'll study up and let you know what happens.
By the way, it always makes me smile to find a fellow TMBG fan. Too bad I never got to know you on VMK.

I saw TMBG in concert a while ago - they opened for Hootie & the Blowfish. They were a lot of fun to see and listen to...

Is the Intercot Class of '08 limited to High School graduates? (I graduated from University last month). LOL

Yay for everyone!

University counts too. The more the merrier!:trio:

That's so neat that you got to see my favorite band live, TinkRocks! I have yet to do so myself, but I am determined to see them someday. Plus, they're a part of Disney now which makes me happy.:swing:

 Congrats Fan Girl!

Don't give up on theater.. nobody does more of that, on a daily basis, than Disney.

My favorite position in WDW would be the stage manager (or whatever they call them) for the parades. That control room had me fascinated from a Stage Managers point of view.
