50"s prime time vs. Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre

Which would be better for a family of 8 with a 5 year old and a 3 year old, the 50's primetime cafe or he Sci-Fi dine in theatre?

Definitely 50s, not just because Sci-Fi is lousy, but some of the clips at Sci-Fi can be unsettling the the wee little ones and the tables are not maximized for groups of 8.

I would also say 50's is better. As it was mentioned the food is better but also the drive in can be a little dark.

I can not comment on Sci Fi til after our next trip... but I can tell you that Mom and I loved dining at 50's prime time..... the food was good and the atmosphere was excellent... out waiter was really great and into his part!! Kids will love seeing the adults get scolded at the dinner table... we had a wonderful experience there.

We actually liked both...There is so much difference in these two but for little ones I would say 50s...My kids liked Sci Fi better but they are a little older and they liked watching the old movie clips...

50's Prime Time no doubt. The seating at Sci-Fi is made to feel like you're sitting at a drive-in. The cars have a front seat (2 people) and a back seat (2 people). Everyone faces forwards, so you wouldn't be able to talk to/sit with everyone. You would need 2 cars. At 50s Prime Time, you can sit at a large table, talk, and enjoy the playfulness of the CM. In my opinion, 50s Prime Time is for older kids or adults, and small groups. Have fun!!!

P.S. Try the Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake, its unbelievable.

Ive been to both and i prefer the Sci Fi as it has a better atmosphere and the milkshakes are the greatest in the world .

However the menu in the 50s is better :thumbsup:
