Parking at the parks

I had a question regarding parking. We are driving to Disney World and are staying in the park at the value resorts.

If we decide to drive to a park as opposed to taking the shuttle bus, will we have to pay for our parking separately or is it free with our package?

Just curious. There may be days when we will prefer to drive so we can have a quick escape should our son get cranky.

That's what's cool, you can take free Disney transportation or park for free if you stay at a Disney Resort.

Just keep in mind, particularly at MK driving is not always the quickest escape. At MK you will have to take the ferry or Monorail over to the TTC. Then from the TTC you will have to get on the tram out to your car.

To me it is just easier to ride the bus.
