No Reservations?

We are thinking of driving down in late September,taking plenty of time to see what we can on the drive.Is it possible at that time of the year to get a WDW hotel room w/o prior ressies?Thats supposed to be their slow season.

I think free dining is going through Sept 20, so there will still be alot of people there in late Sept on the free dining. I would not try without a reservation. Also with the Halloween party, it's not that slow of a time anymore.

You could probably get something but it may not be at the resort or in the category of room that you want.
