Taxi Fares from POFQ

We are trying to decide between renting a car and using taxi's from POFQ to the parks the last week of August.

If anyone has taken a taxi from POFQ and remembers the fare, please let me know.

Mears just gives an estimate of 10-15 each way no matter where you are going.

We took a couple of cabs on our last trip when we stayed at POFQ...we had one late dinner at Jiko's and the park was closed; the other one was a late dinner at Poly and MK had just closed. Both times we didn't feel like dealing with figuring out the transportation system.

It was around $12 for one and $15 for the other; with tip.

I have to say that the transportation system is very efficient from POFQ. Most of the kids should be back in school by then, so the parks shouldn't be too crowded.

One of the ADR's we would use a taxi for is Kona Cafe.
Glad to hear that the busing is good at POFQ.
At WL last year, we often picked up guests at FW, Poly and/or Grand Floridian.......
Would like to have options to get to dinner and not have to leave so early!

We took a taxi home to FQ from the Poly a couple of weeks ago, and it was $14. For us, it was a great use of $$, instead of getting in the MK-closing bus chaos. Usually though, we just take the busses and have very few problems with the bus transportation.
