We are thinking of a trip in Jan of 09'. My dd will turn 3 while we're down there. She'll be 3 when we check in on the 18th and her 3rd b-day will be on the 24th. I was wondering if anyone knew if we would still be able to stay at pop century, or if we'll have to go to port orleans. Thanks for your help!:mickey:

You have 3 kids, correct? And you are wondering about the one kid in a crib under 3 rule? I think that Disney would be okay with that. I would call Pop directly or just try to make a reservation and see what happens. Do they have your daughters birthdate? If not, you could fudge it by a few days. I know it is a tough one. Or you could always get two rooms at Pop if you just really like the hotel.
Good Luck, I hope it works out!

My dd will turn 3 while we're down there. She'll be 3 when we check in on the 18th and her 3rd b-day will be on the 24th. I'm guessing this is a typo and that she'll be 2 when you check-in and turn 3 on the 24th. If that's the case, Disney goes by the age on the check-in day, so you're all set.

If your daughter is age 2 at check in on the 18th you will not have to purchase park passes for her:mickey:

We were told by CM it is the age at check in. So she is two during the whole vacation even if it is her birthday while there and so you do not have to pay.

No worries--as everyone has said, since your daughter is 2 at check-in that is the age she is considered for the duration of your stay. :)
