Where is the one place I must eat when I go to DW (including all parks, resorts, etc.) I'm dieting to get in shape for Vacay- but when I get there no holds barred! :thedolls: Thanks

If you want to go all out, I'd pick Victoria & Albert's.

Other favorites of mine are California Grill and Le Cellier.

This really depends on what you are looking for. There are so many great restaurants at the world. Here are my choices:

Romantic - California Grill
Character - Chef Mickey's
Extra Perks (getting in to MK before the public) - Crystal Palace
Fun/Rowdy - Whispering Canyon Cafe'
Family Fun - O'Hana
Dinner Show - Hoop De Doo

Hope this helps!!

John, that's a good list.

I have to say my number one, do not miss no matter what restaurant at Disney is California Grill. High marks across the board, they never fail to wow and impress.

Honorable mention to Flying Fish Cafe and 'Ohana.

I agree with Jym, as usual. If you're looking for one special meal, have dinner at California Grill. You will undoubtedly be impressed and leave thrilled.

It may not be the best choice for young children, though. So if you're dining with a family, consider 'Ohana or Le Cellier Steakhouse.

My favorite is California Grill too. We hardly ever eat a table service meal but we've eaten at CG about 7 or 8 times. Whenever we are celebrating a special occasion that's where we go. The food is delicious and watching the fireworks from outside is awesome:mickey:

My favorite restaurant for just the wife and I would be California Grill. For the whole family though, we never miss enjoying the food and fun at 'Ohana.

For my family, it's LeCellier HANDS DOWN!! This is a must do for every trip!

However, California Grill is awesome, as well as Kona and O'Hana!

I have not been to many of the favorites (like Le Cellier - I know!!), so my choices might change after I try those, but for now:

CS - Casey's - it's the first thing we do after checking in (exept this year when we get there super early - DH isn't privy to the dark 'o'clock info yet - he's gonna kill me), but we'll hit it later.

Buffet - Boma!! Love, love LOVE IT!!! I'd go by myself if I had to.

Sit-down - Narcoosee's - it's not a big fave here, but we love it. Part of it is sentimental - we went there on our honeymoon- paid for by good friends as a wedding gift (plus our waiter was from Pittsburgh and that was fun). but beyond the sentimental aspect, it was wonderful. The food was absolutely fantastic, and we watched the water parade from our table.

"SULLEY "RULES!!

One of DW and my favorite restaurants is Liberty Tree Tavern. The food is great, the ambiance is spectacular, and the characters are great plus!

Ah yes...so many restaurants, so little time. My top picks have changed slightly since our most recent trip, but they are:

Dinner Show: Hoop Dee Doo Review - This was our first time and we had a BLAST! You have to do this at least once in your lifetime. We did, and now we're hooked.

TS: Teppan Edo (Japan-Epcot), Rose & Crown (UK - Epcot), Le Celier (Canada - Epcot), California Grill, & Sci Fi (DHS)

CS: Pecos Bills at MK, and Columbia Harbor House at MK

Biggest disappointments: Whispering Canyon & Kona. I've always been a "die-hard" supporter of WC, and heard wonderful things about Kona. Let me say, neither were "bad"...but by comparison with the other places we ate, they were at the bottom of our list. We have no plans to go back to either one. They lost our reservation at WC and we had to wait over an hour to be seated, so that didn't put us in the best mood to begin with. Food was okay, but not extraordinary. At Kona, the service was terrible. The poor waiter had way too many tables to serve, and they were on opposite sides of the restaurant. Food was good, but again nothing that had the "Wow!" factor.

Have fun planning!!
