That is pretty cool. Does anybody else think he resembles the blue wind-up walking toy in Toy Story?

That's totally awesome! I wonder if they're planning on bringing it to the parks.

I really don't get what they're doing with these characters like Lucky the Dinosaur, The Muppet Mobile Lab, and now Wall-E. It seems to me they are hugely popular, and they would make great "extras" to put in the parks for the guests to see and interact with.

Wall-E showed up at my work today, so I got a chance to check him out, meet him, and take some pictures. Very cool robot ... I'm sure he will be hit when he appears at the parks. Great job Pixar, Disney, and Imagineering for creating an awesome life size character from the movie.

Refresh my memory, when is the actual movie due to be released? I know that I heard but I am drawing a blank.

Actually, I think he looks like Number 5 from Short Circuit!

Hope they bring Wall E to WDW
I saw something on the official Disney Wall-E site that you can win a trip to see him at either Disneyland or Disneyworld. That sounds pretty official to me.

For any of you in the Philadelphia area, Wall-E will be making a special appearance at the Franklin Institute from noon to 2PM on Wednesday 5/28!

You can expect that Wall-E will be making a number of public appearances around the country- especially to children's hospitals and other stops.

And for those in the NYC area who want even more of a taste of Disney, this Saturday at the Skirball Center at NYU, you can have the rare opportunity to interact with Lucky the Dinosaur, Crush from Turtle Talk and perhaps a few more special guests who will be part of the Science of Disney Imagineering presentation at the World Science Festival.
