Is this good for the length of your stay or just the amount of days you have tickets to the parks?

I am staying at POFQ for 5 nights and I am only going to the parks 4 times(base tickets)

The DDP is 1 snack 1 CS and 1 TS for each night that you stay...You can use these up until midnight of the day that you check out...

From Disney Dining Plan FAQ (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=91180)
Q: Do I need to purchase park passes for as many days as my Disney Dining Plan?

A: No. Although you need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan as part of a Magic My Way package, the Dining Plan length is tied to your Disney resort stay length.

Currently, Disney only requires guests to purchase a Magic My Way package with a 1-day park pass (per guest) in order to qualify for the Disney Dining Plan.

*Note*: Specially discounted packages may have unique requirements.

Q: How long is my Disney Dining Plan valid?

A: The Disney Dining Plan is valid from your check-in at your Disney Resort Hotel till midnight the day you check out.

My question would be, do I have to purchase my tickets through disney reservations or would I be able to purchase them through the intercot link and still get the ddp? I am also wanting to have the 3 meals a day and not the 1.

Figment!

You need to purchase a Magic My Way package (including tickets and room reservation) in order to add on the Dining Plan. If you would like to use the Official Ticket Center to save on your ticket price, you could purchase a package with only a 1 days ticket and purchase the remainder separately through the Official Ticket Center.

The Standard Dining Plan includes two meals and one snack per night booked (many Guests find they can use the snack credit for a light breakfast).

The Deluxe Plan includes three meals per night booked.
