how much is it to pay for extra room cleaning?

theres no chargs i thought but they expect a tip i read on another website that a dollar per person is what is expected. If i am wrong someone let me know

Additional Full Cleaning Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $30.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $45.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $60.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $75.00 per day requested

Additional Trash & Towel Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $15.00 per day requested
One-Bedroom - $20.00 per day requested
Two-Bedroom - $25.00 per day requested
Three-Bedroom - $35.00 per day requested

with dvc....you get a cleaning every fourth day.....beyond that you pay

Is the 4th day trash/towel or cleaning? I thought cleaning, but we got trash/towel only during our 8 night stay.

We were there last week at it was trash/towel service only on the 4th day. No cleaning.

4th day is trash and towel service.

At first, we thought we would miss the daily cleaning and making our beds for us. But it really wasn't a big deal for us. We definately have better things to spend $45 - $60 a day on!

Even with 4 toddlers, wasnt a big deal to pull out the vacume and clean up their crumbs real quick.

I have never stayed at a DVC resort before but I am renting points in Nov. to stay at SSR. How exactly does the mousekeeping work? Can you get extra towels if you need them before the 4th day and does that cost?

Look for a cart and ask the housekeeper if you can get whatever you need. They have always done this, just ask.

Trash/Towel Service vs. a Full Service Cleaning depends on how long you are staying for. We are going down for 10 days and have a full cleaning scheduled for the 4th day and towel service four days after that. If you're going down for 5 or 6 days, they'll give you the trash/towel service on day 4....
