Food Network just was showing a special on fantasy weddings and the last one they showed was catered by Tyler Florence in the rose garden beside the Castle! The couple got to spend the night in the castle and had a their wedding party on the castle forecourt complete with a live band and fireworks. Of course no price tag mentioned but how does that happen? I thought the castle suite couldn't be bought? It was amazing!

I saw the same special. It was gorgeous! The couple didn't pay for the package, they won it through a contest from Brides magazine.

Yeah, they were contest winners. Normal people can't "buy" the castle suite...YET.

In 2001, the price to have a ceremony in front of Cinderella's Castle was $35K. That did not include anything else, though. That was just the cost of that location. The Wedding Pavilion, by contrast, cost $1,500 back in 2001. Guess where we had our wedding. :D

I'm sure it's close to $50K by now...

It is and guess where my DD insists on getting married when that day comes. :secret: That guy better be some real prince and true love forever because thats something I'll only (help)do once! :prince: :princess:

What was the exact name of the show? I'd like to see if they're airing it again so I can tape it.:mickey:

Not only that but that's just the basic ceremony with no frills other than getting married in front of the castle. Throw in all the little extras, a reception on-property, as well as potentially getting rooms for wedding guests at on-property hotels along with theme park tickets, your wedding could easily reach the hefty price tag of $250k.
