We are using the Deluxe Dining Plan when we go to WDW in June. We used the old dining plan for both our trips last year. One problem we had was trying to keep track of our counter service credits and how many kid or adult meals we had used. We didn't always eat all together and a lot of times we would share meals, some adult ones and some kid ones, but since they weren't separated into kids credits and adult credits like the table service meals it was hard to keep track of the meals. We didn't want to abuse the system and use too many adult meals. Now here is my question (finally :D): Will our meals be separated into kids and adults on the deluxe dining plan since that plan lets you pick either counter or table service meals for your meals?

I'm about to make your life a whole lot easier ... they print the number of remaining meals/snacks you have on the bottom of each receipt they give you when you use the DDP. They break them out kids vs. adults, too ... assuming you got one of each type of meal.

Also, you can't "abuse the system" and "use too many adult meals" ... it's all tracked. Once you're out you're out. It's not like Disney is going to just let you walk away with food you didn't pay for.

Just keep checking your receipts- like Ian said- it's all right there for you.
Kids and Adult credits are not interchangeable.

The DxDDP does allow you to use the same credits for either TS or CS- so it's doesn't matter how you use them- the total remaining will be printed on your receipt.
The only "different" kind of credits you will have are Snack credits.
