Shopping on Western Cruise

What kind of shopping is there on Cozumel and Grand Cayman? Is there just shops or is there a straw market type of shopping?

I haven't been to the Straw Market yet, but I don't recall any open air kind of shopping in either port. In Grand Cayman, it was lots and lots of little shops. Same with Cozumel. There were mostly jewelry shops.

I didn't see a straw market in either location, but Cozumel has a big mall right where you come ashore. As for Grand Cayman, it's more like Key West with rows and rows of smaller stores.

Ditto on the Grand Cayman shopping - lots of smaller stores and lots of jewelry. But don't forget your rum cake - yummmmm! The Tortuga cake factory is in Grand Cayman. Also, Stingray City was totally awsome swimming with the stingrays.
