MNSSHP Tickets

Have any of you DVCers purchased tickets for MNSSHP? I saw in info central that last year there was a discount for DVC members. Is that still true for this year?
I saw on another thread here that tickets were almost $60 each for an adult. Just going to try and save a little money. If there is a discount, do you need your DVC member ID or can they look it up? (Reason I ask is we just signed up and haven't gotten our paperwork yet that includes our member ID.) I guess we could wait until we get it if need be.

There are DVC discount nights. I do not know which ones, because I only asked about the night we wanted- and we got lucky!
So, I can tell you September 30 and Oct 2 are included for the DVC discount.

The DVC discounted price for 2008 is $45.95 for an adult ticket (plus taxes).

You do need to provide your Member number when you call. And you must call DVC Member Services to get this discount.

Unless you are going on Halloween night- it should be OK to wait until your number comes.

Thanks so much! We're going Oct 2 - the day we arrive, so it's good to know that the discount will apply then. I hope to get our member # soon just so i can have it done and out of the way.

We did ... 9/19 and 12/2 ... neither night had any discounts available ...

Oh well.....only night that we can go and I'm not missing it!:pumpkin: My kids have never been and that's at the beginning of our trip!

Member services has specific dates, about 10, don't know the specifics. Maybe someone else does. There were not any dates that fit our needs so we paid full price!!But if it works for you on the specific dates, then go for it!!:mickey:

The discounted nights for DVC members are:
September 9, 12, 23 & 30 and October 2, 7, 9 & 21
Discounted Adult price is $45.95 + tax = $48.94
And discounted chold price is $39.95 + tax = $42.55

(the same nights and discount apply to AP holders as well)

Since we just became members and haven't fully paid it off or signed the papers, can we still call to get tickets? Liek to know before I make the call.

Call Member Services and ask.
If they have you in the system- then yes.
If not, they may ask you to wait.
You have to purchase them there (MS) anyway and only they can answer for sure.
