Our reservations are made, flights are booked, how do we schedule Magical Express?

It's very easy!

Disney's Magical Express must be booked at least 10 days prior to arrival through disneyworld.com, Disney Reservation Center by calling 407-W-DISNEY or a travel agent.

Wow, that was fast, thanks! Where do I go on the Disney World web site to book? I couldn't find it unless it's under reservations for hotels which have already been made.

Click here (https://secure.disney.go.com/wdw/reservations/dme/) for the WDW DME online reservations.

Or if you booked through Magical Journeys they have their own DME reservation site here (https://www.magicaljourneystravel.com/magicalexpress.html).

On the Disney site, it appears they only accept on-line reservations for groups. They refer individuals to the telephone number for booking.

I thought that, too, but then I found the link above, so I guess individuals can register online as well.

Thanks, Chris! It always seems so hard to find what you want on that site!

I have received my Magical Express tags, what now. Do I just drop my luggage as usual and it is taken care of from there? This seems way too easy:blush:

Yep that's about it. Just put a few necessity things (swimsuit if you want to swim right away, change of cloths if you want, ect) on a carry-on because the luggage can take a little while to get to your resort.

another question about magical express - I had heard that if you use magical express that weight limits for luggage don't matter. Is this true!!?!!

Weight limits and baggage limitations do matter at least on the trip to Orlando. I have heard of at least one instance where when checking bags in at the resort for the trip home that someone was not charged for an overweight bag, but I definitely wouldn't count on that being the case.

Weight limit does matter - I've had plenty of situations where the people had to bring their luggage with them to the bus rather than check it in because it was overweight.
The best thing to do, if you can, I realize there's been lots of changes with airline baggage, is to bring a bag, either empty or with snacks and use that bag for the extra items you pick up while you're at WDW.
That way you don't have to worry about your bags being overweight.

I tried using the link and filled in all of my information for my December trip and today I got this email:

"Dear Mary,

Please be advised we would not be able to process your Disney Magical Express due to this web site is for our Wholesale Partners. Please call
1 407 934 7639 and one of our agents will be gladly to add your Disney Magical Express to your reservation.

Sincerely,
DME Support"

So I guess you can't use that link. I'll call on Monday to make my ressies.
